Senior Geologist- Hong Kong

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Geologist for their operations in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
- Managing and undertaking studies primarily including: reclamation and closure; and specialist consulting for assignments such as due diligence assessments
- Identifying exploration targets
- Designing exploration programs
- Managing exploration data
- Preparing geological models
- Preparing Resource Statements
- Field work inspection
- To provide consultancy advice in different stages of mine development
- Handle ad hoc projects as and when required

Requirements:
- Bachelor holder in Civil Engineering / Earth Sciences or equivalent
- At least five years of experience with extensive resources modeling experience
- At least ten years of experience in mining valuation and technical report
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office is a MUST
- Familiar in the use of geotechnical software ie. Surpac or Micro Mine
- Self-motivated, well organized, hardworking individual, who is able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Occasional travel is required
