Technical Services Manager-South East Asia

Our Client is currently seeking a Technical Services Manager for a project in South East Asia

Responsibilities:

• Organise and Coordinate tasks related to the Engineering, Drill/Blast and Port activities at mine level.
• Establish and maintain a record of sound safety, operational and technical performance and management practices.
• Achieve site safety & financial objectives
• Provide direction for sub ordinates ensuring group performances meet the expectation in Engineering, Drill/Blast and Port Departments.
• Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment
• Staff training & development
• Proposal development for Process changes
• To implement and maintain Environmental Management Plan
• Ensuring Engineers provide required support to the Mining department


Requirements:

• Bachelor of Mining or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years’ experience at Supervisory level or 4 years at Managerial level
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong production and Safety focus and a successful track record proven to achieve targets
• Planning skills
• Ability to impart knowledge to subordinates
• Willing to work in remote locations and adapt to isolated conditions
