Geologist- Hong Kong

Our client is currently seeking a geologist for their operations in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying exploration targets
- Designing exploration programs
- Managing exploration data
- Preparing geological models
- Preparing Resource Statements
- To provide consultancy advice in different stages of mine development.
- To ensure and check the accuracy of the comments of report

Requirements:
- Bachelor holder in Civil Engineering / Earth Sciences or equivalent
- At least five years of experience with extensive resources modeling experience
- Vast experience in mining valuation and technical report
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office is a MUST
- Familiar in the use of geotechnical software ie. Surpac or Micro Mine
- Self-motivated, well organized, hardworking individual, who is able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Occasional travel is required

Senior Geologist- Hong Kong

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Geologist for their operations in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
- Managing and undertaking studies primarily including: reclamation and closure; and specialist consulting for assignments such as due diligence assessments
- Identifying exploration targets
- Designing exploration programs
- Managing exploration data
- Preparing geological models
- Preparing Resource Statements
- Field work inspection
- To provide consultancy advice in different stages of mine development
- Handle ad hoc projects as and when required

Requirements:
- Bachelor holder in Civil Engineering / Earth Sciences or equivalent
- At least five years of experience with extensive resources modeling experience
- At least ten years of experience in mining valuation and technical report
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office is a MUST
- Familiar in the use of geotechnical software ie. Surpac or Micro Mine

PROCESS DESIGN METALLURGIST – PHILIPPINES


Our client is currently seeking a metallurgist for a project in the Philippines.

Responsibilities:
- Design and management of metallurgical test work and data gathering from internal and external labs
- Process design and specification
- Management/registration of company patents
- Documentation of process work for final report

Requirements:
- Highly capable, with experience in R&D, process design and/or production
- Good spoken and written English
- Must be willing to relocate to the Philippines and spend time at a remote site, as well as spend time in Beijing
- Proficient at designing experimental test programs and gathering the required test data
- Process modeling/simulation - Metsim
- Experience in base metal process would be an advantage
- Familiarity with operating pilot plants and managing metallurgical test campaigns would be a further advantage
