Geology Manager-Australia

Our client is currently seeking a Geology Manager for a project in Australia
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of exploration programs
- Application of geophysical and other appropriate techniques for data acquisition
- Resource modeling and estimation
- Application and optimization of proprietary UCG site selection criteria
- Manage all geological data
- Provide geological support to ongoing operations including management of all drilling activities and advice on geological matters.
- Manage research and development programs
- Provide technical guidance to staff
- Oversee training requirements
- Perform audits and reviews for quality compliance.
- Support technical management functions of projects including design reviews and HAZOP studies.
- Geological modeling, reserve / resource estimation, validation and reporting
- Maintain Health, Safety and Environment standards in compliance with the systems on the mine


Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science, Geology qualifications
- Minimum 10yrs experience in coal geology
- Expertise in coal resource evaluation with sufficient experience at estimating resources
- Understanding of hydrology and geotechnical aspects
- Understanding of Industry and Regulatory Standards and Design Criteria
- Leadership and Management Experience
