Full scale mining of the deposit is underway with production expanding from 5.0 Mtpa to 10.0 Mtpa, with further expansion to 15 Mtpa. Mining complexity is high, with multiple seams, short strike length and high production rates. The location is remote and modern accommodation facility is located near to the site with undercover and heated facilities.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for a board range of activities including managing, planning and implementing drill & blast activities. He or she should comply with the drill and blast procedure, system and stay focus in safety.
Drilling Operator certificate
5 years relevant working experience
A mining or related tertiary qualification is preferred
Very strong leadership and excellent communication skills
Excellent team player
Highly flexible and transparent in handling all duties
Culturally sensitive, with excellent strategic patience
