FIFO 5/2 OR Residential 2/1
Production is underway and is expanding from 5.0 Mtpa to 10.0 Mtpa, with further expansion to 15 Mtpa. This is a complex mine with multiple seams, short strike length and high production rates. The location is remote, and weather conditions are extreme, thus the company will offer a competitive package to compensate for the harsh environment.
You will be responsible for the management of mine planning, surveying, geology and coal quality functions. This role is suitable for individuals who are looking to develop their career with a large and expanding international mining contractor.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in mining or related subject
At least 6 years mining operational experience in a senior, technical role
Coal experience in an open pit environment is essential
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
Must be a team player
Flexible and transparent in handling all duties
Culturally sensitive
Good knowledge of mining software eg. Surpac, Whittle, MineSched is preferred
